  • His best known work but Wikipedia does not note certainly if it was first published or attached an opus number in any sense (if so, the work page name should be changed also to include the Op.1 but preferably if this can be found on a contemporary, not a modern edition.) Were these first published as a unit as early as 1716? Yes, according to L. F. Tagliavini in the preface of his 1958 edition.
  • Please note that the no.3 Canzona in D minor has also been attributed to Johann Baptist Peyer as a Fugue. Peyer could simply be the copyist of a fugue/canzona by Zipoli. Depending on other concordances, the attribution should change to one or another, if it can be definitively confirmed.
