Chi Liming Chi Liming

Chi Liming, a leading tenor of Shanghai Opera House, has sung Rodolfo and other popular Italian and French opera leads, as well as Chinese opera roles both in China and abroad. Chi was highly acclaimed by the European media. They commended him as “A real Italian singer”. Described by Maestro Peter Mark, Artistic Director of Virginia Opera, as “one of the new generation of Western Opera singers to emerge from China with tremendous vocal, musical, and emotional potential for our field.”

In concert, he’ll sing classic arias from Chinese and western operas, famous Italian songs as well as Chinese art songs.
