Biography
Lu Jianhua: National composer, member of China Musician Association, Shanghai Musician Association, Honorary Vice President of Shanghai Children's Music Association. In the past decades of years, he created plenty of symphony, vocal music, and instrumental music.
Main Works: Symphony fantasia‘Xiangyu’; Flute concerto‘Magnolia Caprice’; large dance drama‘Huapi’,‘Glod Dance and Silver Jewelry,‘Beauty of City and Nation Level’,‘Woman Named Sanmao’; Dance:‘The Death of Overlord’,‘Awakening’,‘Abrupt Changes’,‘Red Flower in Snow and Wind’,‘Chinese Style’,‘Rhyme of Tang Dynasty’; Large Musical:‘Happy Salesperson’,‘Rabbit and Gun’; Music for Opera and Film:‘Killing Skeleton Demon’,‘Juvenile Soldier of the 8th Army’; Song:‘Plum Blossom in Snow’,‘Ode to the Plum Blossom’,‘Soul of Teacher’( Song for Shanghai 1st Session of Teacher Festival) ,‘Fly, Little Dove’( Song for Shanghai 1st Session of Students' Art Festival) ,‘Same Heart for Children Globally’( Song for Shanghai International Children Art Exchange Festival), etc. Many works are awarded prizes of provincial or city level.
Lu Jianhua participated in selection of works and appraisal of prize for Shanghai Spring and other art events many times, such as‘Earth under Sunshine’,‘Singing in October’and‘Competition of Works for Chorus’. In 2006, he was invited to appraise works relevant to‘New Dream on the Sea’in Shanghai Spring. In 2007, his flute sonatas‘Magnolia Caprice’made debut in Special Performance of‘New Dream on the Sea’. In 2009, his symphony series of‘Three Pieces of Landscape Painting were performed excellently in debut.
