Namula was born in a family of professional musician of Ewenki. Her father is a famous player of Matouqin and Cello. Her mother is an excellent dancer and educator. Namula’s uncle is a prominent composer of Inner Mongolia, who has written hundreds of ethnic works loved by people, including Meet Before Aobao, Morning Melody on Grassland
Namula entered the High School Affiliated to Central Conservatory of Music in 1982, learning Cello from Professor Song Tao, a prominent Cello master as well as educator of the Conservatory. In 1988, Namula was exempted from the College Entrance Examination to CCOM. And at the same year, she won the second prize of the National Cello Competition (Junior). Namula graduated in 1992 with outstanding scores and became a teacher in this school afterwards. She has served as the director of the Cello course in the Middle School for 17 years from 1995. In 2011 she was appointed Principal of the Middle School.
Namula has participated in many major performances locally and abroad, and held a number of solo recitals, chamber music concerts and lectures in Switzerland, the United States, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, Macau, Australia, France and other countries. She devotes to the education, training a large number of excellent cello talents. Namula put on many public performances in major cities both at home and abroad with the delegation of the Chinese Musicians. From 1997, Namula has become the permanent professor of Canada’s Morningside Music Bridge. Many of Namula’s cello teaching DVD have been published, such as Cello and Piano, Cello Classroom Teaching, New Works of Cello. She edited Three Cello Masterpieces, Amateur Graded Examination Cours(Two volumes), Cello Class etc. In addition, she also wrote A Brief Discussion of Cello Teaching and a series of articles on Cello teaching for the Magazine- Yang Musician including.
Being a cello educator, Namula has trained a lot of cello talents, most of whom have won international awards.
