Tian Yimiao Tian Yimiao

Tian Yimiao, young scholar, music writer, Ph.D. in Composition Technique Theories, associate professor from Composition Department, Shanghai Conservatory Of Music, executive director of China Women Composers’ Association. Tian was awarded Excellent Music Works Wenhua Prize by Ministry of Culture, CPC and “PMPH Cup” Top Prize for University Music Book Review. In 2010, Tian was awarded the title of “ Jourdeness-Girlfriend” China Powerful Women. Tian has published books including “Appreciation on International Classic Film Music”, “Song of Silent River”, “Gentle War Song”, “Close to Music Score” and “Era of Classic Music Giants”. Currently, Tian is a music columnist for Shanghai Weekly, Shenzhen Special Zone Daily, Hunan TV Mango Picture, Xinmin Evening News, 21st Century Business Herald. Her serial lectures “Listen to Classical Music with T-Shirt on” have a widespread impact on artistic youths.
