Xingzimin Pan’s music has been performed in the United States, Germany, Australia and China, where the venues include Libby Gardner Concert Hall, Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center, the Concourse, National Library of China Arts Center, and Hefei Grand Theater. The events such as Iowa Composers Forum Gala 25th Anniversary Festival (Cedar Rapids, US), University of Utah UCC Concert, Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival (Neumünster, Germany), Sydney Chamber Choirs 2013 season-Cross Sections concert (Sydney, Australia), the 12th China International Choral Music Festival (Beijing China), and "Philharmonic Zhongnan" Concert Series (Wuhan, China) have presented his works in various settings. Ensembles that have performed and recorded his works include Northern Iowa Symphony Orchestra, University of Northern Iowa Concert Band, Wuhan University Symphony Orchestra, ZUEL Wind Symphony, UNI Singers, Sydney Chamber Choir, Renwen Philharmonic Choir, USTC Choir, Shanghai University Chorus and Peiyang Chorus. He is also the recipient of the Honourable Mention from 2nd IFCM International Composition Competition, and the winner of University of Northern Iowa Choral Composition Contest (2013). His scores can be purchased under the labels of Hayo Music, Skinny Dip Publications, and Schott Music.

Pan also worked as a conductor in several university ensembles before he came to the US. The repertoires he has conducted include movements from Bach Double Concerto for Violins in D Minor, Beethoven Symphonies Nos. 5 and 7, Brahms Symphony No. 1, Dvořák Symphony No. 9, Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto, as well as a diversity of symphonic band’s programs.

Pan received BA in Music from Central China Normal University (2008) and MM from University of Northern Iowa (2013). He is now studying for the Ph.D degree in Composition at University of Utah, where he also works as a teaching assistant and sound engineer.
