Yang Yandi Yan-Di Yang

Yang Yandi was born in Xining, Qinghai province. He is now Vice President of Shanghai Conservatory of Music. He used to be Vice Dean and Dean of Music Department consecutively. He is prominent musician and critic. Mrs. Yang also serves as head of National Academy of Western Music, Vice President of National Music Critic Association, Standing Director of National Music Aesthetics Association, Deputy Director of China Association of Music Theory, Deputy Editor of People's Music, Vice President of Shanghai Aesthetics Society.

Main Works:‘Loneliness and Transcendence–Biography of Pianist Gould’,‘Melodious Music’,‘Cultural Interpretation of Music-Yang Yangdi Music Collection’. Yang says that he is looking forward maturing Shanghai Spring, as representative brand of Shang culture and part of construction of cultural metropolis, to better releasing liberating power and rippling effect.
