Binyan Zhao Binyan Zhao

Binyan Zhao was born in June, 1993 in Jinan, Shandong Province.In 2012, she was admitted to China Conservatory of Music, majoring in the folk songs in the Vocal Voice & Opera Department and learning from LiLin who is known as an outstanding young teacher in CCM.

Awards-winning Experiences:

In 2015, she ranked first in the Shandong Division of the 10th Golden Bell Awards, representing the Shandong Musician Association to participate in the Golden Bell Awards.

In 2014, she was the Bronze-prize winner in the Professional Undergraduate Ethnic Group of the 4th Peacock Award Contest of National Vocal Music Art Colleges.

In 2012, she was the Gold-prize winner in the Chinese Vocal Music International Competition of the 4th ICAF (Singapore).

In 2007, she was the Gold-prize winner in the Chinese selection of the Looking Far And Aiming High--- The Chinese Student Leader International Art Exchange Selection(Teenager group).

In November, 2006, she was the Gold-prize winner in the 3rd Chinese Star pop music competition(Teenager group).

Art Experiences:

In January 2016, she was invited to sing the song “Sewing the Red Flag” (selected from the opera Jiangjie ) on solo in the “Dan Xin Xiang Yang---Yansu Musical Works Concert” in Hengyang.

In January 2016, she received an exclusive interview from Sohu---Binyan Zhao : Being tempered with vocal music, she is changing her life.

In October 2016, she successfully held a report-back performance in the period of learning vocal music named “Love my hometown, fancy my folk songs” in the music hall of Shandong Art Colleges.

In October 2015, she attended the vocal music lecture hosted by Li Lin (her teacher) named “Truth of feelings, Unity of voices” in Shandong Art Colleges and she did a good job on demonstration of the vocal music.

In 2015, she was the back cover character of the magazine “GeQu” hosted by the China Musician Association of the 7th issue.

In August 2015, she attended the vocal music lecture hosted by Lilin(her teacher) named “Truth of feelings, Unity of voices” in Tsinghua University in Beijing and she did a good job on demonstration of the vocal music.

In July 2015, she was invited to sing the song “Xue Li Huo Li You Huan Hun”(selected from the opera Daughter of the Party) on solo in the 70th Anti-fascist War Victory Anniversary and “Lin Lang Fang Hua”Lilin and students’ vocal music concert in Rui’an in Zhejiang.

In 2015, she joined in the record of the demo tape of the opening song “Si Shi Tong Tang He Jia Huan” in CCTV’S New Year Gala.

In 2014, she was invited to sing the song “My hometown Yi Meng Shan” in the “Lin Lang Fang Hua”Lilin and students’ vocal music concert in Jinan.

In December 2014, she attended the opening ceremony of “Song Jian Yue Poetry Club”, singing the song “Beautiful Homeland”on solo.

In 2014, she was invited to sing the Beijing opera “Guanghui Zhao Er Yong Xiang Qian”on solo in the Art Practice Week Concert of the 50th China Conservatory of Music Anniversary.

In 2014, she sang in the episode of the Disney Movie “Monsters University” and in the same year sang in the episodes of several characters in the movie “The Little Princess Sophia”.

In 2013, she sang the song “the Ballad of Mulan”in the Final competition and Award ceremony of the 9th New Generation hosted by the Composition Department in China Conservatory of Music.

In December 2012, she attended the Beijing Art Colleges’ Achievements Exhibition named “Qing Chun Xiang Shang”and the New Year Evening Party hosted by Tsinghua University.
