《星条旗永不落》（The Stars and Stripes Forever）是美国国家进行曲，由美国作曲家约翰·菲力浦·苏萨于1897年（另一说1896年）创作，被广泛误传为美国国歌。
《星条旗永不落》（英语：The Stars and Stripes Forever），或翻译成《永远的星条旗》、《星条旗颂》，是美国作曲家约翰·菲利普·苏沙的代表作，美国著名爱国主义进行曲。根据1987年的美国国家法令（The United States Code），《星条旗永不落》为美国国家进行曲（the national march of the United States of America）。
《星条旗永不落》遵循了美国军队进行曲的普遍风格。在中国，此歌常常与美国国歌《星条旗》混淆。
历史
根据苏萨的自传《独自行进》（Marching Along）所述，苏萨在1896年的圣诞节创作了这首曲子。当时他在一艘远洋游轮上，与妻子计划前往欧洲旅行。他得知了苏萨乐队的支持者大卫·布莱克利（David Blakely）逝世的消息。他在脑海里创作了这首进行曲，并在到达美国的时候记在了纸上。1897年，这首曲子在费城的威洛格罗夫公园首次演奏。立即受到追捧。
此歌通常在美国总统的公开演讲之后，或出席活动、纪念仪式等场合演奏。而另一首进行曲《向统帅致敬》，则一般在介绍总统时演奏。
1972年，美国总统尼克松访华，期间军乐团演奏的即为《星条旗永不落》。导致美国国歌“星条旗”(The Star-Spangled Banner)与之相混淆而产生的错误译法“星条旗永不落”流传甚广，因此许多民众从名称上误以为此即美国国歌，甚至新华网上关于美国国歌的介绍也将两首歌曲的译名混淆[3]。混淆更为主要的原因是美国国家法令（The United States Code）170条规定《星条旗》（The Star-Spangled Banner）为美国国歌（National Anthem），188条规定《星条旗永不落》为美国国家进行曲（National March），与国内被宣传的情形有别。
赏析
《星条旗永不落》是苏萨的代表作，创作于1897年，管乐合奏曲。这首进行曲充分发挥铜管乐队的表现功能，以磅薄的气势和热烈的情绪歌颂自己的国家和军队，颇有鼓动力。 音乐在降E大调、2/2拍子快速的引子之后，出现了雄壮奋进的旋律。随后出现舒展明快的第一主题，先由木管声部弱奏，并立即由以长号为主的铜管乐器强奏而出。
随后，音乐进入降A大调，第二主题流畅欢快，由木管乐器主奏。在长号的雄壮的过渡之后，音乐第二次进入第二主题，并有短笛作装饰性的演奏。当音乐第三次进入第二主题时，情绪饱满而高涨，低音声部响起长号的对位旋律，同第一主题和短笛演奏的曲调相重叠，进入高潮，在异常热烈的情绪中结尾。
